The theme for the EC4WDA 42nd annual convention is 'Redneck Yacht Club' Prizes will be given for costumes and table decorations.
	This year will most likely be the biggest challenge a theme will bring. In the past you have always surprised me. The ideas you bring have always been so great. This should be funny I am sure. So come on do your best and have a bunch of fun!!!!!

BASKET SILENT AUCTION
At last year’s Convention it was decided that we would no longer do Door Prizes. In place of them each Region will do a basket that will be raffled off. The proceeds from these baskets will go to the Region hosting the Convention. They will donate the monies would to their Region's Community Service Projects Fund or the charity of their choice. This year it is Region C.

HOSPITALITY ROOM
Your Host for the Hospitality Room and after banquet fun is Region ‘C ’ this year. They want me to remind you if you want to munch bring a bunch of those kind of goodies to stock it up. Remind your clubs that you need their help. PLEASE DON’T LEAVE TOWN WITHOUT THOSE SNACKS.

PENNSYLVANIA LAW
If you go into the Lounge or Bar of the Hotel and purchase something to drink you must drink it where it is purchased.
If you have Beer in the Hospitality Room it must be consumed in that room. It cannot be carried around or taken into any other part of the Hotel including the lounge and the Bar.
You can bring and drink your Beer or Liquor in your Hotel Room but you cannot carry it or consume it in any other part of the Hotel .

THE GARNEAU AWARDS
Named for Fred and Nancy Garneau for their untiring efforts in support of the Junior Racers program, the new "Garneau Awards" will be presented to one Junior from each Region.

THE EC4WDA COMMUNITY PROJECT 2011 “TOYS FOR TOTS”

It is a wonderful Project, giving all of us a chance to really make Christmas special to the kids who go to bed Christmas Eve knowing full well that they will not hear Santa coming down their chimney again this year. Carrie told me the other day that this year of all years, she hopes that we will feel the spirit of Christmas really tug at the hearts and make it super big gift. There are so many kids who need help here in Pa. as well as our home towns. We used to fill the food banks to the roof here in DuBois and it made Christmas so very special to us even in November. You still have time to go back to your clubs and ask for donations at the next meeting either toys or money. If we have money we will all go shopping in DuBois. Let’s really make an impact on this area and help make this one a very special “ CHRISTMAS” for their kids. If you do be a Santa, tell everyone to buy the gift, don’t wrap it and proudly place it with the display in our meeting room.
